An earthquake measuring five magnitude on the Richter scale struck Sunday the Cusco Province in southeastern Peru. The US Geological Survey (USGS) said that the earthquake occurred three km from Caicay District at a depth of 10 km. There have been no reports of casualties or material damage as a result of the earthquake so far. Peru is exposed to at least 400 earthquakes every year due to its location on the Pacific Ring of Fire. Source: Qatar News Agency
