Gaza: The death toll from the ongoing Israeli airstrikes on the Gaza Strip since early dawn has risen to 70. Medical sources reported that among the victims are children and women who were martyred in a series of brutal air raids and massacres carried out by the occupation army, targeting residential homes and tents sheltering displaced families.

According to Qatar News Agency, the sources added that three children were martyred when an Israeli occupation airstrike hit a family home near Jaafar Mosque in Al Shuja’iya neighborhood, east of Gaza City. Several other civilians were also killed in a separate airstrike on a home in Al Saftawi area in the north of the city.

The latest figures from the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza indicate that the ongoing Israeli aggression has so far left 53,573 people dead and 121,688 injured, though these figures remain incomplete.
