The Center's report confirmed that the tremor was recorded at 10:29 local time in Zhaotong City, Yunnan Province, at a depth of 10 kilometers. It is noteworthy that last Wednesday, Taiwan was hit by the strongest earthquake in 25 years, which killed at least 9 people and injured more than 800 others, damaged dozens of buildings, and prompted the authorities to issue tsunami warnings.
