Baghdad, An earthquake with a magnitude of 4.9 struck today, Saturday, Yunnan Province, southwest China, according to the Chinese Seismological Center, and no information was received about casualties or damage. The Center's report confirmed that the tremor was recorded at 10:29 local time in Zhaotong City, Yunnan Province, at a depth of 10 kilometers. It is noteworthy that last Wednesday, Taiwan was hit by the strongest earthquake in 25 years, which killed at least 9 people and injured more than 800 others, damaged dozens of buildings, and prompted the authorities to issue tsunami warnings.
