The Federal Intelligence and Investigation Agency announced today, Sunday, the arrest of a dangerous terrorist in Baghdad. The Federal Intelligence and Investigation Agency stated in a statement: "The intelligence agency's detachments specialized in combating terrorism in Baghdad/Rusafa monitored information indicating the arrival of a wanted suspect according to Article 4 of the Anti-Terrorism Law from outside the governorate, and immediately a specialized intelligence team was formed and a tight ambush was set up for him and he was arrested after obtaining the necessary judicial approvals." It added: "He confessed during the investigation with him to his affiliation with the terrorist ISIS gangs, and to carrying out several terrorist operations (kidnapping and killing a large number of members of the security services in Nineveh Governorate during the control of the terrorist ISIS gangs over it in 2014) as well as his participation in the terrorist attack on the security forces in (Wadi Hajar) area."
