Nineveh Police announced the killing of a Mosul woman in tribal revenge in the village of Al-Jada'a, south of Mosul. A source in the Nineveh Police told the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA) that 'gunmen on foot opened fire on the woman while she was in a local market, due to a tribal vendetta, and they killed her on the spot.' He added, "The security forces cordoned off the scene of the incident after the woman's body was transferred to the forensic medicine office in Mosul and opened an investigation to identify and arrest the perpetrators."
