Mosul, The Governor of Nineveh, Abdul Qadir Al-Dakhil, invited reputable international French companies to invest in development and vital projects in the governorate, especially the Badoush Dam project, which is considered one of the strategic projects. Al-Dakhil told the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA) that he 'received the French Consul in Mosul, Jean-Christophe Auger, and his accompanying delegation in the Nineveh Governorate building.' Al-Dakhil pointed to 'the great role of France in supporting Iraq during the fight against terrorism and continuing the distinguished relations with the federal government, which was reflected positively in direct communication with the local government. He stressed that "the presence of the Consul in the city of Mosul is a message to the international community that it enjoys stability and is ready to receive foreign investment companies."
