Doha: Al Gharafa SC announced Friday the signing of Cameroonian player Ayuk Tiko Cosmas from Al Bida Club, prior to loaning him to Muaither SC for one season to provide him with greater playing time and regular match experience.

According to Qatar News Agency, the club stated on its official website that the 19-year-old Cosmas joined Al Gharafa from Al Bida and will spend the current season on loan with Muaither. This move is part of Al Gharafa's strategy to strengthen its squad and leverage promising talent.

In a related development, Al Gharafa is set to face Al Sadd on Saturday at Jassim Bin Hamad Stadium in a clash that is part of Round 3 of the Qatari Football League, also known as the Doha Bank Stars League.
