Al-Karkh Police Command carried out Today, Sunday, raids and searches, during which it closed 4 gambling halls. It stated in a statement, "A joint force from Karkh Police Command, and the agencies attached to it, carried out raids and searches that resulted in the closure of four large halls used for "gambling" and arrested (108) violators inside them with their owners and workers, including four wanted according to various legal articles against whom arrest warrants were issued, and 8 others of foreign nationality in violation of the controls and conditions of the Department of Residence and Nationality, in addition to seizing large quantities of alcoholic and devices and materials used (for gambling) in a number of Karkh areas in Baghdad."
