Kirkuk: The head of the Turkmen parliamentary bloc, MP Arshad Al-Salhi, discussed with the commander of Kirkuk operations, Major General Saleh Haraz, the security situation in the governorate. During the meeting, which was attended by Kirkuk Provincial Council member Ahmed Ramzi, the current security situation and the challenges facing Kirkuk were reviewed, especially the threats posed by criminal gangs and terrorist groups that are trying to destabilize the governorate. During the meeting, Al-Salhi stressed the necessity of reconsidering the current security plans in the center of Kirkuk, and developing them in line with field developments, and the importance of strengthening the role of operations command and paving the way for federal forces to enhance their presence and role in controlling security and order and pursuing outlaw elements. He said that we are more concerned about the security and stability of Kirkuk and we denounce the attempts of some parties to distort our positions for political goals . The federal forces will remain the subject of our pride. For his part, Major General Saleh Haraz affirmed the commitment of the Kirkuk Operations Command to achieving security and safety in the governorate, stressing that the command is working to update its security plans to suit the current challenges.
