Al shaqab: Al Shaqab, a member of Qatar Foundation (QF), will host the fourth edition of Al Shaqab International Arabian Horse Show from November 4 to 7. Supported by the Social and Sport Contribution Fund (Daam), the event will feature an elite lineup of purebred Arabian horses.

According to Qatar News Agency, the competition will take place over four days at Al Shaqab's outdoor arena under the patronage of HE President of the Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC) and Chairman of Al Shaqab, Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al-Thani. Al Shaqab announced that registration is now open for owners and studs wishing to participate in the various championship categories, with the deadline for registration set for October 1.

Classified as a "B" show, the event is held under the supervision of the European Conference of Arab Horse Organizations (ECAHO), offering participating horses the opportunity to qualify for higher-ranked international and global championships. The fourth edition builds on the success of last year's third edition, which saw strong participation from studs, owners, and breeders from various countries.

Championship Director and Head of Breeding and Show Department at Al Shaqab, Khalid Al Jehani, stated that the fourth edition reflects Al Shaqab's commitment to preserving the heritage of purebred Arabian horses and enhancing their standing on the international stage. He highlighted that participation from entrants worldwide underscores the prestigious reputation the championship has earned in a short period.

The event has become a key fixture on the Arabian horse show calendar, known for its high organizational standards and fierce competition among participating studs. The championship serves as a platform that brings together owners, breeders, and enthusiasts of purebred Arabian horses from around the world, while emphasizing the heritage of the Arabian horse and its significance in Qatari and Arab culture.
