Doha: Alqantara Publishing and Distribution has recently published "The Fire Series", a novel by Qatari writer and novelist Abdulaziz Al Mahmoud. The new novel builds on the author's enduring literary project. Set against an epic backdrop inspired by real historical events, the novel explores the conflicts, tectonic shifts and issues that shaped the region during pivotal periods in its history, unfolding in an engaging dramatic narrative.

According to Qatar News Agency, Founder and Director of Alqantara Publishing and Distribution Jassim Salman stated that this publication comes in response to readers' enduring passion for well-crafted historical fiction. Salman affirmed that the publishing house is committed to showcasing phenomenal literary works and plans to publish further works in the coming phase.

The Qatari novelist Abdulaziz Al Mahmoud has previously published two historical novels. The first, "The Corsair", was released in 2011, narrating the story of the Gulf region in the early 19th century. This novel was also translated into English, expanding its reach to a global audience. The second novel, "The Holy Sail", was published in 2014, covering a historical span from the late 15th century through the 16th century.
