A source in the Grand Hilla Prison revealed that an inmate sentenced to life imprisonment for drug-related cases died today, Thursday, while being transferred to Hilla Surgical Hospital due to medical complications. The same source said, "The patient had been lying in the prison's health center for days, and the prison administration decided to transfer him to Al-Hilla Surgical Hospital after his health deteriorated, but he died during his transfer."
