San francisco: Anthropic has launched a new version of its artificial intelligence model, Claude Fable 5.1, with improved capabilities for coding and scientific tasks, as well as greater cost efficiency, in response to customer feedback.

According to Qatar News Agency, the company said the new version is better able to handle long and complex coding tasks, such as software projects and code reviews. It has also become more effective at supporting scientific work, including designing experiments, simulating their results, and reading data presented in dense charts and tables.

Dianne Penn, Anthropic's head of product management for research, stated that long and complex tasks can consume half or more of the tokens when run on Anthropic models. She mentioned that the company had worked to improve the model in response to customer feedback so that it could complete tasks more efficiently while using fewer tokens.
