The arab league condemned thursday the israeli escalation in the occupied palestinian territories and southern lebanon:o-contain crisis. Arab League Secretary-General Nabil Fahmy said Israeli actions in the West Bank and Jerusalem, including raids, arrests, home demolitions, and settler violence, are escalating, alongside near-daily settler incursions into Al Aqsa Mosque under Israeli police protection and tighter restrictions on Muslim worshipers.

According to Qatar News Agency, Fahmy condemned settler attacks in the town of Qusra, south of Nablus, stating that Israeli forces and settler violence aim to seize Palestinian land, impose new realities, and undermine the establishment of an independent Palestinian state. He emphasized the responsibility of the Israeli government to protect civilians under international law.

Fahmy also addressed the continued Israeli attacks in southern Lebanon, mentioning the destruction of a municipal building, school, clinic, kindergarten, and homes in Zoutr Al Sharqiya. He described the targeting of civilian infrastructure as a serious violation of international humanitarian law.

The Arab League urged the international community, particularly the UN Security Council, to take urgent action against Israel over its actions in the occupied territories and neighboring countries.
