Doha: HE Chief Executive Officer of Qatar Free Zones Authority (QFZ), Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Faisal Al-Thani, met with Executive Vice President and CEO of BYD, Stella Li, to explore opportunities for future cooperation in advanced manufacturing and innovation within Qatar's free zones. The discussions aimed at fostering collaboration that could bolster the growth of high-value industries within the region. According to Qatar News Agency, the meeting highlighted QFZ's integrated industrial ecosystem, world-class infrastructure, and competitive value proposition, reinforcing Qatar's position as a strategic hub for global manufacturing, technology, and innovation. The discussions underscored the potential benefits of a partnership between QFZ and BYD, aiming to create synergies that leverage the strengths of both parties. The BYD delegation was also given a tour of the Business Innovation Park, where they explored the state-of-the-art facilities and innovation-driven environment that support the growth of high-value industries within Qatar's free zones.
