The Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq in Prague, Dr. Falah Abdul Hassan, met with the Czech Foreign Minister Jan Lipavsky today, Thursday, on the occasion of the end of his duties in the Czech Republic. A statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that the Ambassador stressed to the Czech Foreign Minister the depth of historical relations between the two countries, and stressed the importance of developing frameworks for bilateral cooperation in various fields. The Ambassador also expressed his pride in his work in the Czech Republic and the hospitality he received during the past years and cooperation from the Czech side. For his part, the Czech Foreign Minister praised the good efforts made by the Ambassador, and touched on his recent visit to Baghdad, stressing that it was up to expectations. The Czech Minister renewed his country's welcome to the upcoming visit of Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani and Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein to the capital Prague.
