Doha: The Department of Meteorology has warned of poor horizontal visibility at most places at first in inshore areas.
According to Qatar News Agency, the Department’s daily weather report indicates that inshore conditions until 6:00 pm on Wednesday will be misty to foggy at places at first, with moderate temperatures during the daytime accompanied by scattered clouds at times, and relatively cold conditions by night.
Offshore, the weather is expected to feature scattered clouds to partly cloudy skies at times. Inshore winds will initially be variable, shifting to northwesterly to northeasterly at speeds of 05-15 KT. Offshore, winds are anticipated to be northwesterly at 08 to 18 KT.
The sea state inshore will range from 1-3 FT, rising to 4 FT at times, while offshore it will range from 3-5 FT. Inshore visibility is expected to range between 4-9 km, reducing to 2 km or less at most places initially. Offshore visibility is expected to be between 5-10 km.
