Department of Meteorology Warns of Poor Horizontal Visibility Tonight

Doha: Weather, inshore, until 6:00 am on Friday will see humid, misty to foggy at places later, the Department of Meteorology said in its daily weather report, warning of poor horizontal visibility at places later. Offshore, it will be humid, becoming misty to foggy at places with scattered clouds later, the report added, warning of poor horizontal visibility at places later.

According to Qatar News Agency, the wind inshore will be northeasterly to northwesterly at a speed of 03 to 12 knots at first, becoming variable later. Offshore, it will be mainly northeasterly to northwesterly at a speed of 03 to 13 knots. The sea state inshore will be 1 to 2 feet, while offshore will be 1 to 3 feet. Visibility inshore will be 04 to 08 kilometers or 02 kilometers or less at places later. Offshore will also be 03 to 08 kilometers or 01 kilometers or less later.

The tide tables indicate varying high and low tides across different regions. In Doha, high tides are expected at 07:55 and 18:36, with low tides at 01:38 and 14:45. Temperatures in Doha are expected to range from a minimum of 30 to a maximum of 38 degrees. Other areas such as Mesaieed, Wakrah, Al Khor, Ruwais, Dukhan, and Abu Samra will experience similar tidal patterns with slight variations in temperature ranges. The sunrise is expected at 05:18 LT, and sunset will be at 17:40 LT.
