Doha: Weather inshore until 6:00 pm on Thursday will be relatively cold daytime, partly cloudy to cloudy, and scattered rain at places at times, cold to very cold by night, the Department of Meteorology said in its daily weather report. Offshore, the weather will be partly cloudy to cloudy with a chance of scattered rain at times, warning of strong wind and high sea.
According to Qatar News Agency, wind inshore will be northwesterly at a speed of 08 – 18 KT, gusting to 24 KT at times. Offshore, it will be northwesterly at a speed of 15 – 22 KT, gusting to 30 KT. Sea state inshore will be 3 – 5 ft, while offshore it will be 4 – 7 ft, rising to 10 ft at times. Visibility inshore and offshore will be 5 – 9 km.
The report provides specific tide timings for various areas: Doha will experience high tide at 04:25 and 15:27, and low tide at 12:04 and 22:43, with minimum and maximum temperatures ranging from 14 to 21 degrees. Mesaieed will have high tide at 05:59 and 17:07, and low tide at 13:36 and 23:23, with temperatures between 12 and 21 degrees. Wakrah’s high tides will occur at 05:18 and 15:49, with low tides at 12:17 and 22:34, and temperatures ranging from 13 to 20 degrees.
In Al Khor, high tide is expected at 15:37 and 04:34, with low tide at 21:43 and 11:32, and temperatures between 13 and 20 degrees. Ruwais will see high tide at 04:34 and 17:21, and low tide at 11:32 and 23:27, with temperatures from 15 to 17 degrees. Finally, Abu Samra will have high tide at 13:26 and 04:33, with low tide at 04:48 and 06:28, and temperatures between 12 and 17 degrees. Sunrise is at 05:57 LT and sunset at 17:34 LT.
