Department of Meteorology Warns of Strong Wind, High Sea Tonight

Doha: Weather inshore until 6:00 am on Saturday will see fine and moderate temperature by night, the Department of Meteorology said in its daily weather report. Offshore, conditions will be fine, the report added, warning of strong wind and high sea.

According to Qatar News Agency, winds inshore will be mainly northwesterly to westerly at a speed of 03 to 13 knots, gusting to 20 knots at places initially. Offshore, winds will be northwesterly at a speed of 10 to 20 knots, gusting to 26 knots. The sea state inshore will range from 2 to 4 feet, whereas offshore conditions will be 3 to 6 feet, rising to 8 feet at times.

The visibility inshore will range between 05 to 10 kilometers, while offshore visibility will remain the same. Tide timings and temperatures for various areas are provided as follows: In Doha, high tide is expected at 02:37 and 16:50, with low tide at 10:28 and 23:50, and temperatures ranging from 30 to 40 degrees Celsius. In Dukhan, high tide will occur at 09:35 and 21:57, with low tide at 03:23 and 15:44, and temperatures between 27 and 39 degrees Celsius.

In Mesaieed, high tide is anticipated at 04:10 and 18:30, with low tide at midnight and 11:11, with temperatures from 25 to 41 degrees Celsius. Wakrah will see high tide at 02:56 and 17:51, with low tide at 10:26, and temperatures ranging from 28 to 37 degrees Celsius. Al Khor will experience high tide at 02:59 and 16:45, with low tide at 10:44 and 23:54, and temperatures between 25 and 41 degrees Celsius.

In Ruwais, high tide is expected at 04:32 and 16:50, with low tide at 10:49 and 23:37, and temperatures from 27 to 39 degrees Celsius. Abu Samra will have high tide at 09:03 and 21:22, with low tide at 03:25 and 15:55, with temperatures ranging from 26 to 40 degrees Celsius. Sunrise is expected at 04:48 LT and sunset at 18:12 LT.
