Doha: Weather inshore on Saturday will be hazy to misty at first, partly cloudy to cloudy with chance of scattered rain maybe thundery at places at times, relatively cold by night, the Department of Meteorology said in its daily weather report, warning of expected thundery rain associated with strong wind.

According to Qatar News Agency, offshore, it will be partly cloudy to cloudy with a chance of scattered rain maybe thundery at times, the report added, warning of expected thunder rain at times, strong wind and high sea.

Wind inshore will be northwesterly at a speed of 10 – 20 KT, gusting to 28 KT with thundery rain. Offshore, it will be northwesterly at a speed of 12 – 22 KT, gusting to 30 KT at times.

Sea state inshore will be 2 – 4 ft, rising to 5 ft at times. Offshore, it will be 4 – 7 ft, rising to 10 ft at times.

Visibility inshore will be 5 – 9 km / 3 km or less at places with thundery rain / hazy and misty at first. Offshore, it will be 5 – 9 km / 3 km or less with thunder rain.
