Egypt: The Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Tuesday announced that the Egyptian sailors detained in Iran's Bandar Abbas Port since January have been released, with arrangements made for their safe return to Egypt.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Ministry stated that the Egyptian interests section in Tehran had successfully completed the sailors' return procedures to Egypt. This follows extensive diplomatic efforts over the past several months aimed at securing their release. The Ministry's announcement marks the end of a prolonged period of uncertainty for the detained sailors and highlights the effective diplomatic engagement undertaken to resolve the situation.
