Egyptian President El-Sisi emphasized Egypt's efforts to de-escalate regional tensions, underscoring the significance of resolving the current crisis through peaceful means to maintain peace and stability and ensure the uninterrupted flow of international trade.
According to Qatar News Agency, El-Sisi reaffirmed his country's support for a political settlement to the Russia-Ukraine crisis and expressed Egypt's readiness to provide assistance toward that goal at the earliest opportunity. President Zelenskyy echoed El-Sisi's sentiments on the necessity of reducing escalation and tensions in the Middle East. The conversation also included a review of the latest developments in the ongoing conflict between Moscow and Kyiv.
