The Gaza City Municipality said that the Israeli army "deliberately targeted vital facilities and infrastructure to make Gaza an unlivable city." The municipality added in a statement on Friday that "the occupation has been targeting the Tel al-Hawa neighborhood (in Gaza City) for 9 months, and the industrial area is crowded with displaced people in residential towers." She pointed out that "the occupation targeted water tanks, trees, mosques, schools and all vital facilities." She confirmed that "35% of the buildings and residential facilities in the Shuja'iyya area, east of Gaza, were completely destroyed." She said: "We cannot deliver water to the areas where citizens have been displaced because the infrastructure has been completely destroyed." "We urgently need fuel and heavy equipment to respond to relief calls and restore electricity," she added. She explained that "about 100,000 tons of waste have accumulated throughout Gaza City, and diseases and epidemics are spreading." The Gaza Municipalit y stated that "there are very limited quantities of food supplies at exorbitant prices that do not meet the minimum needs." Earlier today, the Civil Defense in the Gaza Strip said that its crews found the charred bodies of citizens and completely burned homes in the industrial area and the Tel al-Hawa neighborhood in Gaza City after the Israeli army withdrew from the area this morning. In this context, the government media office in Gaza stated, "We are receiving news of serious atrocities committed by the occupation in the Tel al-Hawa neighborhood in Gaza City." He added that "the occupation forces are still stationed in areas despite their withdrawal from Tal al-Hawa and the industrial zone." He warned citizens against "moving around the Tal al-Hawa neighborhood and the industrial area despite the occupation's withdrawal." Source: Maan News Agency
