Gold: Gold held steady on Tuesday after touching a more than one-month low in the previous session, as investors geared up for the US Federal Reserve's policy decision for clues on the future path of monetary policy. Spot gold was unchanged at $4,300.96 per ounce, after hitting its lowest point since Aug. 7, while US gold futures fell 0.3 percent to $4,341.10 per ounce.
According to Qatar News Agency, other precious metals showed varied movements. Spot silver rose 0.1 percent to $63.28, while platinum fell 0.1 percent to $1,757.46, and palladium fell 0.7 percent to $1,283.61.
