Gold Steady Ahead of US Inflation Data Release

Doha: Gold held steady on Monday as market participants awaited key US inflation data due later this week for further clues on the Federal Reserve's interest rate trajectory. Spot gold was almost unchanged at $4,424.40 per ounce, while US gold futures for December delivery were down 0.1% at $4,471.60.

According to Qatar News Agency, among other metals, spot silver held steady at $66.21 per ounce. Meanwhile, platinum lost 0.7% at $1,807.38, and palladium experienced a decline of 0.4% to $1,393.00. These movements in the metal markets are being closely watched by investors as they assess the potential impacts of upcoming economic data on monetary policy decisions.
