Doha: HH the Deputy Amir Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al-Thani sent a cable of congratulations to HE President of the Republic of India Droupadi Murmu on the occasion of her country's Independence Day.

According to Qatar News Agency, the message from the Deputy Amir was part of the diplomatic gestures marking the celebration of India's Independence Day. The cable conveyed the Deputy Amir's best wishes to President Murmu and the people of India.
