Doha:HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani received a telephone call from HE President of the United States of America, Donald Trump, on Friday.

According to Qatar News Agency, the two leaders reviewed the strategic relations between Qatar and the United States and explored ways to support and strengthen these ties. The conversation also focused on the latest regional developments, with a particular emphasis on diplomatic efforts aimed at reducing tensions in the region.

During the call, HH the Amir and President Trump discussed international efforts, including initiatives led by Qatar, to bridge gaps between conflicting parties and support negotiations to achieve a comprehensive agreement. This agreement aims to resolve the crisis and ensure regional security and stability.

HH the Amir stressed the importance of continuing dialogue and prioritizing diplomacy as a means to resolve disputes. He highlighted the need to prevent further escalation in the region and to ensure the security of maritime navigation and energy supplies.
