Doha: HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani sent a cable of condolences to HE President of the Republic of Indonesia Prabowo Subianto concerning the victims of the earthquake that struck the east of the country. In his message, he conveyed his wishes for a speedy recovery to those injured.

According to Qatar News Agency, HH the Deputy Amir Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al-Thani also sent a cable of condolences to President Prabowo Subianto, extending similar wishes for the injured. HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani joined in expressing his condolences to the Indonesian President, echoing the sentiments of recovery for those affected by the disaster.
