Doha: The high-level meeting for Least Developed Countries began today with the presence of Chairman of the Board of Directors of Qatar Fund for Development, HE Sheikh Thani bin Hamad Al-Thani, alongside several distinguished officials. HE Minister of State for International Cooperation, Dr. Maryam bint Ali bin Nasser Al-Misnad, delivered the opening address, emphasizing the critical juncture at which developing countries currently stand. Despite facing significant challenges, these countries hold opportunities that can be transformed into substantial achievements given the right partnerships, sufficient financing, and a supportive international environment.
