Doha: Inshore weather until 6:00 pm on Tuesday will be hazy to misty at places at first, becoming hot to very hot with slight dust at places daytime and some clouds at times, the Department of Meteorology said in its daily weather report. Offshore, it will be misty at places at first, becoming hazy with some clouds, the report added.
According to Qatar News Agency, the wind inshore will be northwesterly to northeasterly at a speed of 8 – 18 KT, gusting to 28 KT at places during the daytime. Offshore, it will be variable at first, becoming mainly northwesterly to northeasterly at a speed of 5 – 15 KT. The sea state inshore will range from 1 – 2 ft, while offshore conditions are expected to be between 2 – 4 ft.
Visibility inshore is projected to be between 4 – 9 km, potentially reducing to 3 km or less at places initially. Offshore visibility will similarly range between 4 – 9 km, decreasing to 3 km or less at places by late night. Residents and visitors are advised to take necessary precautions due to the expected hot and hazy conditions.
