Kuwait city: Kuwait Bourse closed trading on Tuesday with the All Share Index gaining 7.32 points to reach 8,496.05 points, marking an increase of 0.09 percent.
According to Qatar News Agency, a total of 659.9 million shares were exchanged, valued at KWD 123.4 million, which is approximately USD 404.1 million, through 31,597 transactions. The Main Market Index experienced a decline, falling by 37.17 points to reach 7,310.96 points, a decrease of 0.51 percent. This was achieved through 401.1 million shares conducted via 20,451 transactions, with a value of KWD 58.4 million, or roughly USD 191.2 million.
Meanwhile, the Premier Market Index recorded a gain of 18.79 points, reaching 9,211.57 points, an increase of 0.20 percent. This was accomplished through 258.8 million shares in 11,146 transactions valued at KWD 65 million, equivalent to about USD 212.8 million. The bourse’s Main 50 Index also saw an increase, rising by 26.26 points to reach 7,378.80 points, up by 0.36 percent. This movement involved a stock volume of 327 million shares distributed across 12,655 deals, valued at KWD 44.5 million, approximately USD 145.7 million.
