Kuwait city: Kuwait Bourse closed trading on Wednesday with the All Share Index gaining 9.10 points, reaching 8613.77 points, an increase of 0.11 percent. A total of 465.8 million shares valued at KWD 90.8 million (approximately USD 297.5 million) were traded through 29,438 transactions.
According to Qatar News Agency, the Main Market Index experienced a decline, losing 12.39 points to settle at 7586.88 points, marking a decrease of 0.16 percent. This index saw 328.1 million shares exchanged through 20,502 transactions, totaling a value of KWD 44.9 million (around USD 147.1 million).
On the other hand, the Premier Market Index showed an upward movement, increasing by 14.92 points to reach 9295.62 points, a rise of 14.92 percent. This was achieved through the trading of 137.6 million shares in 8,936 transactions, with a total value of KWD 45.9 million (approximately USD 150.4 million).
Meanwhile, the Main 50 Index recorded a slight gain of 1.01 points, reaching 7532.55 points, an increase of 0.01 percent. This was accomplished with a stock volume of 221.3 million shares conducted in 12,042 deals, valued at KWD 32.2 million (roughly USD 105.5 million).
