Kuwait city: Kuwait Bourse closed trading on Tuesday with the All Share Index losing 6.60 points, settling at 8604.67 points, marking a decrease of 0.08 percent. As many as 728 million shares valued at KWD 122.6 million (approximately USD 401.4 million) were traded across 37,309 transactions.
According to Qatar News Agency, the Main Market Index experienced a rise of 49.96 points, reaching 7599.27 points, reflecting an increase of 0.66 percent. This was achieved through the trading of 482.8 million shares across 27,565 transactions, with a total value of KWD 61 million (roughly USD 199.7 million).
Conversely, the Premier Market Index saw a decline, losing 21.05 points to settle at 9280.70 points, down by 0.23 percent. This result came from 245.2 million shares traded across 9,744 transactions, valued at KWD 61.5 million (about USD 201.4 million).
Meanwhile, the bourse’s Main 50 Index decreased by approximately 3.30 points, reaching 7531.54 points, a decrease of 0.04 percent. This was through a stock volume of 282.2 million shares traded in 14,031 deals, amounting to a value of KWD 37.8 million (approximately USD 123.7 million).
