Kuwait city: Kuwait Bourse closed trading on Sunday as the All Share Index lost 28.67 points to reach 8,875.85 points, a decrease of 0.32 percent. As many as 503.2 million shares valued at KWD 106.6 million (roughly USD 348.7 million) were traded via 27,963 transactions.
According to Qatar News Agency, the Main Market Index experienced an upward movement, gaining 53.24 points to reach 8,666.42 points, an increase of 0.62 percent. This rise was achieved through the trading of 341.9 million shares conducted via 16,746 transactions, with a total value of KWD 51.5 million (roughly USD 168.4 million).
The Premier Market Index, however, saw a decline of 47.58 points, bringing it down by 0.50 percent to 9,381.1 points. This was the result of 161.2 million shares traded through 11,217 transactions, valued at KWD 55.1 million (roughly USD 180.2 million).
Meanwhile, the Bourse Main 50 Index also faced a decline, losing 52.84 points to reach 9,527.27 points, marking a decrease of 0.56 percent. The trading involved a stock volume of 255.7 million shares executed in 12,416 deals at a value of KWD 39.8 million (roughly USD 130.2 million).
