Kuwait: Kuwait Bourse closed trading on Sunday as the All Share Index gained 154.28 points to reach 8,866.33 points, an increase of 1.77 percent.
According to Qatar News Agency, as many as 422.11 million shares valued at KWD 110 million (roughly USD 336.6 million) were traded via 23,232 transactions. The Main Market Index increased by 46.61 points to reach 8,646.23 points, marking a rise of 0.54 percent, with 224.12 million shares traded through 12,028 transactions valued at KWD 35.3 million (approximately USD 108 million).
The Premier Market Index experienced a gain of 185.18 points, reaching 9,373.26 points, up by 2.02 percent. This was achieved with 197.9 million shares executed through 11,204 transactions, valued at KWD 74.7 million (approximately USD 228.5 million).
Meanwhile, the Bourse Main 50 Index recorded a rise of 71.90 points to reach 9,614.89 points, up by 0.75 percent. This occurred through a stock volume of 187.3 million shares executed in 9,425 deals at a value of KWD 29.13 million (roughly USD 89.13 million).
