Kuwait city: Kuwait's Foreign Minister Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al Ahmad Al Sabah received a phone call on Thursday from UAE Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, according to Kuwait's Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The two ministers discussed the latest developments in the region and ongoing efforts to address current challenges.

According to Qatar News Agency, during the call, both sides reaffirmed Kuwait's full right to take all necessary measures to safeguard its sovereignty, maintain its security and stability, and protect its citizens and residents, the statement added.
