Doha: The State of Qatar, the Arab Republic of Egypt, and the Republic of Turkiye, acting as mediators, have jointly condemned the ongoing Israeli violations in the Gaza Strip. These violations include the targeting of healthcare facilities and medical infrastructure, resulting in civilian casualties, including women and children, which are considered violations of international law and international humanitarian law.

According to Qatar News Agency, the mediators emphasized the necessity for Israel to adhere to its international obligations and fully uphold the commitments outlined in the ceasefire agreement. They stated that continued violations represent a breach of the agreement and hinder efforts to implement its second phase, especially after Hamas and the Palestinian factions accepted the roadmap, including the provision on weapon confinement.

The mediators warned that these actions threaten the de-escalation process and worsen the plight of civilians in Gaza. They reiterated the importance of protecting civilians, medical facilities, and humanitarian personnel while ensuring the uninterrupted delivery of humanitarian aid and medical supplies throughout the region.

Furthermore, the mediators called on the international community to take responsibility and apply pressure on Israel to meet its obligations under international law and the ceasefire agreement. This is seen as critical to the successful completion of President Trump's peace plan. They noted that President Trump referred to the consensus on the roadmap for the second phase as a "historic agreement" and stressed the importance of maintaining efforts toward sustainable de-escalation, leading to a permanent ceasefire and alleviating humanitarian suffering in Gaza.
