Doha: The Department of Meteorology issued a warning on Thursday for strong winds across the country, both inshore and offshore, along with high seas offshore.

According to Qatar News Agency, the daily weather report forecasts relatively hot to very hot weather with slight dust during the daytime inshore until 6:00 p.m. Offshore, the conditions include slight dust. Inshore winds are expected to be northwesterly at 10-20 kt, with gusts reaching up to 28 kt in certain areas during the day.

Offshore, the winds will also be northwesterly, blowing at 10-20 kt with occasional gusts of up to 28 kt. The sea conditions inshore are reported to be 2-4 ft, potentially rising to 5 ft at times. Offshore, the seas are 3-6 ft, with possibilities of reaching up to 9 ft at times.

Visibility both inshore and offshore is forecasted to be 4-9 km, potentially reducing to 3 km or less inshore during the daytime.
