Doha: HE Minister of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulaziz bin Saleh Al Khulaifi received a telephone call today from HE Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the sisterly Syrian Arab Republic Asaad Al Shaibani. The call addressed discussions on bilateral cooperation between the two countries and explored ways to enhance it. Additionally, the conversation covered the latest developments in Syria and the region, along with several issues of joint interest.

According to Qatar News Agency, HE the Minister of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasized during the call Qatar's complete support for Syria's sovereignty and unity. Furthermore, he expressed Qatar's backing for the aspirations of the Syrian people towards stability, development, and prosperity.
