Doha: HE Minister of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulaziz bin Saleh Al Khulaifi, met Thursday with HE Special Envoy of the Federal Chancellor of the Republic of Austria, Peter Launsky-Tieffenthal, who is on a visit to Doha. The meeting centered around discussions on the strategic relations between Qatar and Austria, with a focus on enhancing and developing these ties across various fields.

According to Qatar News Agency, the talks also covered key regional developments and diplomatic efforts directed at de-escalation and the promotion of security and stability in the region. Both sides emphasized the importance of ensuring the security and freedom of international navigation in the Strait of Hormuz.

Furthermore, HE the Minister of State reiterated Qatar's support for diplomatic efforts aimed at guaranteeing freedom of maritime navigation, aspiring to pave the way for a comprehensive agreement that would achieve sustainable peace in the region.
