Doha: The Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs, through its Department of Research and Islamic Studies, organized the "Knowledge Integration" symposium in coordination with Qatar University's Ibn Khaldoun Center. The event saw the presence of HE Minister of Endowments and Islamic Affairs Ghanem bin Shaheen bin Ghanem Al Ghanem.

According to Qatar News Agency, Director of Research and Islamic Studies Sheikh Dr. Ahmed bin Mohammed Al-Thani highlighted that the symposium, themed "Knowledge Integration as the Basis of Islamic Renaissance", focused on the importance of blending legal, human, and social sciences to promote a renewed civilizational awareness.

Meanwhile, Director of Ibn Khaldoun Center Prof. Dr. Badrane Benlahcene pointed out that contemporary challenges require multi-disciplinary scientific approaches that transcend isolated specializations.

The symposium delved into topics such as civilizational awareness between authenticity and modernity and the role of knowledge integration in anticipating the future. It featured academic papers by Prof. Dr. Ibrahim Mohammed Zain on integration models in the Islamic experience, and Dr. Abdullah Essam Al Obaid on examining the principles of Islamic jurisprudence and history to foster a new understanding of current events.
