Doha: Nine militants were killed in two security operations, as announced by Pakistan on Monday.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Counter Terrorism Department of the Pakistani police stated that security forces carried out an operation in the Pishin district of southwestern Balochistan province, resulting in the deaths of six militants.

In a separate operation in the Mastung district of Balochistan, security forces killed three militants, including a senior commander. The Pakistani military has been conducting operations against armed groups in various regions of the country for several years.
