Islamabad: Prime Minister of Pakistan, Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif announced on Saturday that a deal between the United States and Iran is likely to be signed within the next 24 hours.
According to Qatar News Agency, Sharif mentioned in a post on X that Pakistan is making preparations for the electronic signing of the peace deal, which will be immediately followed by technical level talks next week. He conveyed his gratitude to both the US and Iran for their commitment during the negotiations.
Sharif expressed confidence that the anticipated peace deal will establish a solid foundation for lasting peace. On Thursday, US President Donald Trump revealed that US Vice President JD Vance will attend the signing ceremony of the US-Iran deal, with the event expected to take place in Europe early this week.
