Saudi arabia: Palestinian National Council Palestinian National Council President Rawhi Fattouh stated that recent calls to enter Al-Aqsa Mosque during Jewish holidays, perform religious rituals within its compound, and advance plans to establish the "Third Temple" on its site signify a shift from Judaization policies to imposing a religious and sovereign reality by force, disrupting the existing status quo.

According to Qatar News Agency, Fattouh emphasized that the Mosque, along with its entire compound, prayer halls, and courtyards, forms an indivisible spatial and religious unity. He asserted that any alteration to its historical and legal status or the imposition of non-traditional rituals constitutes a violation of worship freedom and breaches obligations imposed by international law on the occupying power.

Fattouh remarked that converting the mosque into a religious battleground and inciting the construction of a purported Temple in its place highlights projects targeting one of Islam's foremost sanctities. He warned that such actions could escalate conflict cycles and threaten regional and international peace.

He attributed full responsibility for the situation at Al-Aqsa Mosque to the colonial far-right government supporting extremist Jewish groups. Fattouh urged nations and international bodies to fulfill their legal duties by taking immediate measures to stop incursions and provocative rites, and to prevent any attempts to alter Jerusalem's historic and legal character and its religious sites.

The Jerusalem Governorate reported that 40,661 settlers had stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque from the beginning of the year until the end of last month. This figure underscores the growing decisions to restrict Palestinian access to the mosque. As the number of Jerusalemites barred from Al-Aqsa increases, settler incursions continue at a high rate, aiming to limit Palestinian presence while enhancing settler presence and incursions.
