Doha: The Police Academy celebrated on Wednesday the graduation of courses of the first half of the 2024 training plan of the Police Officers Institute, in the presence of HE Legal Advisor to the Minister of Interior and the General Supervisor of the Police Academy, Maj. Gen. Dr. Abdullah Yousuf Al Mal, along with several officials from security and military entities. The graduates completed a series of mandatory and specialized courses organized by the Police Officers Institute as part of its training plan for the current year. The courses aimed to enhance the academic and field capabilities of participants, with dozens of officers from various departments of the Ministry of Interior and other military bodies taking part. Director of the Police Officers Institute, Col. Nayef Mohammed Al Mannai, emphasized the Ministry of Interior's commitment to human resource development and the training of officers through top-tier programs to ensure they perform their duties with high professionalism. He noted that the institute carefully selects and diversifies its training courses in legal, security, and administrative content to meet the demands of contemporary security work and prepare participants for leadership roles, thereby improving the overall security system.
