Doha: HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani and HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the brotherly Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, Dr. Ayman Safadi, held a telephone conversation. The call focused on enhancing bilateral cooperation and assessing the latest regional developments, with particular emphasis on diplomatic efforts aimed at reducing tensions and bolstering security and stability in the region.

According to Qatar News Agency, the conversation highlighted the significance of dialogue and diplomacy among all parties involved, as well as the importance of adhering to the Memorandum of Understanding between the United States of America and the Islamic Republic of Iran. This includes maintaining freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz to ensure regional security, preserve achieved gains, and support regional stability.

HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs reaffirmed Qatar's commitment to supporting initiatives that aim to alleviate tensions and achieve a comprehensive agreement for lasting peace in the region.
