Qatar and Indonesia Sign MoU to Boost Political Consultations

Jakarta: The State of Qatar and the Republic of Indonesia have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to establish political consultations between their foreign ministries. This development marks a significant step in enhancing bilateral ties and fostering cooperation on various matters of mutual interest.

According to Qatar News Agency, the first round of political consultations was held in Jakarta, Indonesia, with HE Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Sultan bin Saad Al Muraikhi representing Qatar and HE Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs Muhammad Anis Matta leading Indonesia's delegation. The discussions focused on strengthening cooperation relations and exchanged views on regional and international developments as well as issues of common interest.
