Doha: Qatar Central Bank (QCB) issued Government Ijara Sukuk on behalf of the Ministry of Finance, amounting to QAR 6.5 billion, on Tuesday.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Sukuk's maturity periods are divided into two tranches. The first tranche, valued at QAR 3.250 billion, matures on September 3, 2028, with a yield of 4.450 percent. The second tranche, also valued at QAR 3.250 billion, has a maturity date of August 24, 2030, and offers a yield of 4.450 percent.

The QCB noted that the total bids for the Sukuk reached approximately QAR 14.5 billion, indicating strong demand from investors.
