Qatar: Qatar's Ministry of Commerce and Industry has launched a digital feature in a bid to enhance digital government services and simplify price registration procedures for companies and suppliers. According to Qatar News Agency, the new bulk product data upload feature for the "Adding Commodity without a Custom release" service aims to facilitate the registration of previously unlisted goods, while also providing a six-month flexible processing period for recording product prices. The ministry said the new feature is accessible through its official website at moci.gov.qa, by selecting electronic services and then the digital platform section. Officials said the service is designed to improve efficiency, reduce administrative burden, and support businesses in managing product listings more easily. The ministry added that companies must comply with product safety undertakings and ensure goods meet applicable laws and regulations, including adherence to public morals and cultural standards. It urged busin esses and retailers to take advantage of the grace period and comply with the new procedures, describing the move as part of broader efforts to build a more organized and investment-friendly commercial environment.
